Toyota 4x4 Range

Toyota 4x4 SUV Off Road Vehicles - Toyota is Japan's biggest car manufacturer, and also a big global player in the world of SUVs. The Toyota BJ was the first Toyota Land Cruiser - back in 1950 or so.

The birth of this Toyota owed much to the fact that Toyota was well involved in the USA in a truck contract.

The mechanics of the first Toyota 4x4 off roader were similar to that project, and the BJ resembled the Jeep.

However the Japanese soldiers preferred the Jeep, and the BJ was a mini disaster as far as the Toyota 4x4 introduction was concerned.

Things changed, and soon Toyota became a world player in the 4x4 and SUV market.
