****Mitsubishi Pajero 2.8 Turbo  1991 @ 169,000 miles - Diesel NEW TURBO FITTED - 27mpg  :  24mpg

Toyota Landcruiser 80 VX series. 1994 4.5 Petrol with 90000 miles on the clock, single point lpg system fitted. Running on lpg urban 9.8 mpg: motorway 10.7 mpg at 70 to 80 mph
Running on petrol urban 15 mpg motorway 22 mpg at 80 mph. Towing heavy loads mpg can go down to 7.4 mpg running on lpg. These figures are based on 3000 miles of driving.

Ford Explorer auto - 1999 4.0  175,000m regularly serviced – Light foot 23.5mpg  Heavy Foot 19mpg I’ll comment that with a 2.75 ton load I get 17mpg. Pure town driving is about the same and the light and heavy foot figures don’t seem to matter if I have a roof box or a car full of people or not

Jeep Cherokee - 1995 4.0 High Output auto 291,000miles (yup and still running) Light foot 27.3mpg heavy 18mpg Towing I get about 19-21mpg, town and up and down the hills where I live I get about 21mpg. If you set it at about 60mph with the cruise control on the motorway, easy over 25mpg.

Comments for Freelander
I never really know my MPG until recently.  I'd always just looked at the number of miles per tank.  On a full tank I'd get between 210 and 230 miles. Ouch!

Comments Toyota Land Cruiser

I live in Abu Dhabi and it only costs 25 pounds to fill both tanks so its not a problem. 100 percent reliable and its a scrap yard heaven. Example four Michelin tyres mud/snow type  100 pounds fitted --60 pounds for a service.
